The Jailtones were an early purveyer of Rockabilly, Rhythm & Blues in the Hampton Roads area. The band was originally founded by Rick and played just about everywhere in the area for nearly 13 years, including opening for many headline acts. The photo above was taken at Virginia Beach's Alan B. Sheppard Civic Center ("The Dome") while performing as Bo Diddley's back-up band.
