Back in '81, the X-Raves played at Rogue's Gallery in Virginia Beach with Gang of Four, which was one of the many groups we covered at the time. After the show, I was talking with Andrew Gill their guitarist, when a young lady - who's name unfortunately escapes me now (please send email if you know who she was) - came in and snapped the photo you see below. As you can see, we were both soaking wet from our respective performances. About a year later, Gang of Four returned to Rogue's and we again appeared with them. Once again he and I were chatting backstage when the same young lady returned with the developed photo. Andy then grabbed a MagicMarker and scrawled the markings you see here. A few minutes later, I gave Andy a tape of some things that I had been listening to, just to help him while away the endless hours of touring in America. I also jokingly gave him an addressed envelope to return the tape but, to date, he has not done so. Andy, RETURN THE TAPE, YOU DEADBEAT!
